Glen Deleavey, Ph.D. candidate, gave a talk on his siRNA research at IBC’s Oligonucleotide Therapeutics Discovery conference, held on April 27-28, 2010 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, MA.

Glen Deleavey, Ph.D. candidate, is awarded the CSC - Montreal 2001 Graduate Award.

 

Jovanka  Bogojeski and Adam Katolik, Ph.D. candidates, are  awarded Sterry Hunt Awards for outstanding services as a teaching assistants. 

 

Matt Hassler and Glen Deleavey, Ph.D. candidates, win IS3NA travel awards to attend the International Roundtable Conference, Lyon, France, August 2010.

David Sabatino, Ph.D. 2007, accepted a Faculty position at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Seton Hall University in NJ.

August 2010

Alex Wahba, Ph.D. candidate. His abstract "Probing sugar conformational preferences during nucleotide excision by HIV-1 RT", was selected for an oral presentation at the IRT Conference, Lyon, France, August 30, 2010.   

Robert Donga, Ph.D. candidate, successfully defends his Ph.D. Thesis (Aug. 3, 2010).  Congrats Dr. Donga!

June 2011

Pascal Gallant, walks on the podium at Convocation to receive his M.Sc. degree.   Congrats Pascal!   Pascal is now a favorite Organic Chemistry Teacher at Marianopolis College, Montreal, QC.   

 

Glen Deleavey, Ph.D. candidate, is awarded the Pall Dissertation Award for outstanding achievements during graduate studies. 

 

The Damha lab delivers 8 presentations at the 94th Canadian Chemistry Conference & Exhibition (CSC 2011) held in Montreal, June 5-9, 2011.
